Past birth and rebirth actually occur in context with the present life cycle itself. When a person changes his mind and behavior completely, it is his rebirth. It is like a snake coming out of its old skin. It is up to a person to know the fact that he can change. A good person may become a victim of the situation, and can become a murderer. Similarly a dacoit can become politician (e.g. Phulandevi) . A family man can become a saint, and a family lady can become a prostitute. Every thing happens as a result of the situation most of the times. But if we come to know that we can change to a different suitable character, would you like to know how?
Ahar (food), Nidra (sleep), Bhay( threat to life) and Maithun( intercourse) are basic needs and instincts of all living beings according to Bhagwad Gita. Poverty, illness, old age and death are most feared and unwanted.
So what do I need for living peacefully and happily in this present life cycle? I have to reassess the events of life, and compare with the Perfectly Organized System of God. As every person’s life is different, the parameters will be different. But nonetheless, we will find out, where we went wrong. We are victims of the past. We wrongly think that what ever we going through, is our destiny.
First of all, start believing that I can change myself and the situations related to me. That is the first step. We are what we believe we are. Belief is the origin and end of every being.
What ever beliefs I have today, are the results of the situations I have gone through. It was not imprinted on my DNA and genes. I can not change the genetic facts about me. But I can certainly delete or add software to the genetic motherboard of our brain.
For doing this we must know the Random Access Memory (RAM), processor capacity, formats of information that can be decoded (CODECS), hard disk capacity, keyboard and mouse of our brain.
We must understand that PlayStation 3 games cannot be played on a PlayStation 2 console. It is because of the incompatibility. We have a genetically allotted system which cannot be changed. We have to play games that are compatible with our genetic system. But whether it is PlayStation 1 or 2 or 3, every compatible game is interesting enough.
It is ironical that we compare a computer with our brain. We never compare our brain with a computer. We feel that a computer is superior to the brain. But we forget that the brain created a computer. Only Einstein used his brain to a maximum of 7%. We all use it hardly 3%. If we ever find a way to use our brain to even 25% of it's maximum capacity, it would leave behind even the fastest supercomputers. But right now, it is needless to stretch our brains beyond their present level.
A computer represents the hidden capabilities of the brain. Did you ever think why most popular computer games are related to combat and survival? Because our genetic imprint gives maximum importance to survival, even at the cost of others. Do you know how much is the income of Facebook? This site is visited the most because of the genetic imprint of interpersonal connectivity. Google is also visited the most to fulfill the hunger for knowledge, because humans always feel that they are not fully informed about the facts.
To learn the perfectly organized system of God, we need to learn about all of it’s different facets. Every coming chapter will unfold different angles of the same.
